About Long Haul Covid Treatment

Through our 20 years of combined Long Covid treatment experience, we continue to take an ever-evolving, evidence-based approach, providing Long Haul Covid treatment to suffering patients. We’ve skillfully treated over 3,000 Long Haul Covid and Post-Vaccine injured patients. Our approach is ever-evolving, accounting for new research and our clinical observations.

If you’re struggling with persistent symptoms after COVID-19 infection, you’re not imagining it — and you’re not alone. Long Covid (PASC) affects millions, and standard medicine is still catching up. We’ve been treating it successfully for four years.

  • Denature and get rid of spike protein and other pathogens
  • Bring down systemic inflammation brought on by presence of the spike protein
  • Re-regulate systemic and cellular processes that are dysregulated by the presence of the spike protein
  • Deal with new onset pathologies

Provider Appointments

Due to the dynamic, multi-system nature of Long Haul Covid, our PASC treatment model is built to support patients with a high level of 1:1 care. Patients have frequent visits with providers as they begin care through us. In the first 4 months, patients are seen 3 times. Their initial visit is an hour long, and the two followups are 30 minutes each. This initial phase of care is designed to help patients that may be highly sensitive to changes in their internal and external environment (ie: new meds, supplements, etc…) adapt to a plan of care. After the initial phase of care, there are continued care options

We use a staff of Registered Nurses, not Nursing Assistants, to maintain a high level of quality care throughout the patient experience. Our RNs provide frequent check-ins with patients in-between appointments. In the initial 4 month program, nurses provide proactive phone call check-ins every other week to help PASC patients manage flares, adjust to care plans, etc… The goal is to ensure patient adherence to a plan of care, help manage symptoms, and address patient questions. Patients can also proactively call the nursing line at any time if their needs require it. Our patient portal also allows for secure messaging. Nursing support goes on for the duration of patient treatment.

Evidence-based medicine is a systematic approach to patient care that that combines clinical expertise, research evidence, and patient values. We have been on the leading edge, proving Long Covid Treatment, for 4 years now. Our experience has provided us with a wealth of knowledge on which approaches to use, and when. We have treated thousands of patients that have seen recovery from severe illness. Our providers keep up to date with the latest on spike protein pathology research to try and uncover additional treatment options.

The initial 4 months of care, which includes 3 appointments with one of our skilled clinicians and support from the RN staff, is $3,900. The initial video call is a comprehensive hour long appointment. The two followups are 30 minutes each. The RN Staff support includes proactive and coordinated followup from a specialized and dedicated Registered Nursing team. They provide proactive followup calls every other week during the 4 month program. In addition to proactive calls, there is also business hour phone line accessibility to your dedicated nursing staff as you need. You also can send the nursing staff 7 messages/week.

About Adjunctive Cancer Care

A 25 year set of data from the U.S. indicated that 5-year cancer survival rates have only increased by 5% (63% to 68%). This is in spite of the fact that many billions have been poured into cancer research. For all these billions spent, the improvement in overall survival by new cancer therapies is just 2.4 months over the last 15 years (Ladanie et al). Over the last 30 years, another study reports an improvement of 3.4 months (Del Paggio et al).

The above statistics demonstrate an urgent need to identify more effective therapies, that come at less expense and have lower toxicity profiles than what traditional care is offering. To address this need, our practice delivers adjunctive cancer care to any cancer patient that wants to seek out this type of care. Our care program uses repurposed pharmaceutical drugs and nutraceutical supplements, as well as metabolic/lifestyle interventions to address multiple different cancer pathways, as well as cancer stem cells

Unlike traditional care, our program sets to target different root cause of cancer – such as metabolic dysfunction – based upon the research of Otto Warburg, Thomas Seyfriend, and many more. While chemo and radiation do not target Cancer Stem Cells, our therapies do. While chemo and radiation are cytotoxic and indiscriminate in the cells they target, our therapies support healthy cells while targeting cancerous ones.

Provider Appointments

Our care model is built to support patients with a high level of 1:1 care. Patients have frequent appointments with providers as they begin adjunctive cancer care with our practice. In the first 4 months, patients are scheduled on follow-up appointments 8 times. Their initial appointment is an hour long, and the 7 followups are 30 minutes each (free). This initial phase of care is designed to help patients initiate a multi-pronged approach that involves lifestyle changes, and a new medication/supplement schedule. After the initial phase of care, there are continued care options

We use a staff of Registered Nurses, not Nursing Assistants, to maintain a high level of quality care throughout the patient experience. Our RNs provide frequent check-ins with patients in-between appointments. In the initial 4 month program, nurses provide proactive phone call check-ins every other week to help patients undergoing repurposed drug and metabolic cancer care manage adjust to care plans, answer questions, titrate dosing, etc… The goal is to ensure patient adherence to a plan of care, help manage symptoms, and address patient questions.

This is the approach we took with our Long Haul Covid and Post-Vaccine Syndrome patients, that we are now applying to those seeking metabolic and repurposed drug cancer care. Our continued commitment to research, combined with our clinical observations, will continue to help provide a better path forward for those suffering from cancer.

The initial 4 months of care, which includes 8 appointments with one of our skilled clinicians and support from the RN staff, is $3,900. The initial appointment is a comprehensive hour long appointment. The 7 followups are 30 minutes each. About Acute Viral Illness Care

After 5 years of Covid circulation, there are still zero approved treatment options for standard-risk patients who develop acute Covid, yet some researchers suggest anywhere from 10-35% of patients go on to develop post-viral complications. Paxlovid was determined to be ineffective for patients under 65 and in those who were vaccinated. The guidance continues to be “wait and see”, to those considered standard-risk. Additionally, the spike protein related immunosuppression we have witnessed in the greater population, especially mRNA vaccinated patients, has made Flu and RSV infections more serious in traditionally low risk populations

After 3 years of treating patients for various viral illnesses, including Covid, Flu, and RSV, we have developed world-renowned expertise in the early treatment and management of acute stages of illness. Our providers constantly update guidance based upon current strains and “viruses of the month” that seem to pop up at all times of the year these days.

Same Day Acute Illness Appointments

Our Acute Viral Illness care for Covid, Flu, and RSV includes same day, 30-60 minute video appointments with a licensed provider. Our providers have deep experience treating viral illnesses through combinations of repurposed, broad-spectrum antiviral drugs, as well as nutraceutical supplements. In some cases, use of antibiotics or steroids may be used if indicated based upon illness progression. Their protocols are constantly changing based on clinical observations of current viral strains.

A week after treatment is started, patients have a 15 minute followup call with their provider to make sure nothing needs to be changed

Our staff of Registered Nurses make regular check-ins with acutely ill patients, daily in some cases, depending upon severity of illness. Their check-ins serve to ensure patients are headed in the right direction, and allow the provider staff to make changes to their treatment regimen if needed.

As mentioned, the wait and see approach for patients suffering in the early stages of acute viral illnesses, such as Covid, has been detrimental to outcomes. Our approach using repurposed, broad-spectrum antiviral drugs is backed by a considerable totality of evidence. A good resource for summary of this evidence is the IMA (formerly FLCCC) I-CARE Covid, Flu, and RSV protocol documents. One thing to note about the IMA protocols, versus what we may suggest to a patient, is that we have more up-to-date guidance (dosage, selected treatments) based upon clinical observation.

The Acute Viral Illness care program for Covid, Flu, and RSV includes a 30 minute video appointment with a provider, a 15 minute followup call with the provider a week into treatment, and regular nursing followup during symptomatic illness. The cost of the program is $600

About DMSO Treatment

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a simple, natural organosulfur compound that is remarkably effective for treating a wide variety of health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, injuries, arthritis, strokes, spinal cord injuries, a variety of autoimmune conditions, and other “untreatable” conditions). Over the past 40 years, more than 10,000 articles on the biological implications and 30,000 articles on the chemistry of DMSO have appeared in the scientific literature. However, like many highly effective, non-patentable treatments, DMSO has been lost to history when the industry could not profit off of its use.

We provide expert guidance on DMSO treatment for a number of conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Autoimmune Conditions (ie: Interstitial Cystitis, Lupus, Asthma, Multiple Sclerosis)
  • Circulatory Disorders (ie: varicose veins, Reynaud’s)
  • Neurological Conditions (ie: TBIs, spinal cord injuries, dementia)
  • Chronic Pain
  • Wound and Injury Healing
  • Rheumatic Conditions (ie: arhritis)
  • Protein Misfolding Disorders (ie: Amyloidosis)

Read on to learn more about DMSO treatment, cost information.

Provider Appointments

Our DMSO treatment plans are for patients seeking expert guidance on the use of topical and oral DMSO*. Our providers are well-versed for different protocols based upon the condition for which a patient is being seen. The condition for which a patient approaches us about also determines the frequency in which they are seen. All new patients have an hour long intake. However, some go on to receive a high level of 1:1 support, which would include two 30 minute followups and nursing support. Patients receive this level of support for DMSO treatment when they are being treated for complex, multi-system illnesses (ie: amyloidosis, autoimmune conditions, etc…). When patients are being seen for more straightforward conditions, such as pain management or wound healing, they will have a single 30 minute followup after their hour long intake.

DMSO treatment programs can be broken down into two categories.

First, for non-complicated conditions and uses, patients have a 1 hour video appointment with a provider, and a 30 minute followup to be used in the following 6 month period. The cost of the program is $850. Plus nursing support in this program.

Second, for complex, multi-system conditions, patients receive an initial 4 months of care, which includes 3 visits with one of our skilled providers and support from the RN staff. The cost is $3,900. The initial visit is a comprehensive 1 hour visit. The two followups are 30 minutes each. Nursing Support includes proactive and coordinated followups every other week from our specialized teams of Registered Nurses, business hour phone line availability with your dedicated nursing staff, 7 portal messages/week, and 24-48 business hour response times. Other therapeutic interventions will be considered based upon the condition

Patients can call the office to book appointments on an as-needed basis for a fee, after using up the two appointments

About Our Measles Care Program

Professional-Guided Care for Children and Adults – Telehealth worldwide.

With measles outbreaks popping up across the United States, families who have chosen not to vaccinate are left with almost no clinical guidance on how to protect their children or manage the illness if it occurs. Standard medical advice typically begins and ends with vaccination, creating a significant gap in care for millions of families who have made a different choice

Our Measles Prevention & Acute Treatment Program was developed by Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Pierre Kory, and our team of licensed clinicians to fill this gap. Drawing on our extensive experience treating viral illnesses with repurposed, broad-spectrum antiviral medications, we offer a comprehensive measles care program available via telehealth across the Globe.

The program provides two tracks of care: a preventative program for families who want to proactively prepare, and an acute illness management program for children and adults who contract measles.

Read on to learn more about our Measles Prevention & Acute Treatment care program, what’s included in each track, pricing.

Measles Prevention - Medications On Hand

Our Measles Prevention appointments are for parents and families seeking clinician-guided preparation before measles strikes. During a 30-minute telehealth consultation, your provider will review your child’s health history and build a personalized prevention plan that includes:

Nutritional Support: Appropriate nutritional support such as cod liver oil as a whole-food source of naturally occuring vitamins A and D, alongside therapeutic doses of vitamin C. The World Health Organization has long recommended vitamin A supplementation to reduce measles severity and mortality.

Broad-Spectrum Antivirals: Prescriptions for broad-spectrum antivirals — FDA-approved medications with well-established safety profiles. Treatments which have demonstrated activity against measles virus replication in preclinical studies, as well as broad antiviral activity against numerous RNA viruses in published research, including Dr. Marik’s review in the American Journal of Therapeutics (2021).

Guided protocols: Detailed visit summaries with instructions on what to do if your child is exposed or becomes symptomatic, so you’re never caught off guard.

Prescriptions are valid for 12 months. This gives families the peace of mind of having medications on hand and a plan in place before an outbreak reaches their community.

For children and adults who have contracted measles, our Acute Measles Illness Care program provides rapid, clinician-led treatment through a 30-minute telehealth consultation. Your provider will assess symptoms, review health history, and develop a treatment plan that may include:

Antiviral therapy: Broad-spectrum antivirals with efficacy against single-stranded RNA viruses, prescribed at therapeutic doses tailored to the patient’s age and weight.

Nutritional intervention: Support using therapies such as high-dose vitamin A (via cod liver oil) and vitamin C to support immune response and reduce complication risk.

Symptom management: Guidance on managing fever, rash, and respiratory symptoms. In cases of respiratory distress, additional treatments such as inhaled budesonide may be prescribed.

Escalation protocols: Clear criteria for when to adjust dosing and graduate to further treatment options based on severity.

During duration of illness, patients will be followed up by RN staff based on individual patient needs. One week into treatment, patients receive a 15-minute follow-up call with the treating clinician to evaluate progress and adjust the plan if needed.

Patients enrolled in our Acute Measles Illness Care program receive ongoing support from our staff of Registered Nurses throughout the course of illness. Our RN team makes regular check-ins — daily in some cases, depending on severity — to ensure patients are responding to treatment and trending in the right direction. These touchpoints allow our provider staff to make real-time adjustments to the treatment plan if needed, giving families expert clinical support at the comfort of their home when it matters most.

Our measles protocols are built on multiple, complementary lines of evidence:

Vitamin A: The World Health Organization recommends vitamin A supplementation for all children with measles. Published research demonstrates that adequate vitamin A status can dramatically reduce measles severity and mortality. Our program uses cod liver oil as a whole-food delivery vehicle for naturally occurring vitamins A and D, in the tradition of Dr. Weston A. Price’s clinical work.

Nitazoxanide: Originally FDA-approved as an antiprotozoal, nitazoxanide is now recognized as a first-in-class broad-spectrum antiviral. A 2023 study in Journal of Virus Eradication demonstrated that it blocks measles virus replication by impairing the viral fusion protein. Clinical antiviral efficacy has been demonstrated against influenza (Phase 2b/3, The Lancet Infectious Diseases), RSV, parainfluenza, and coronavirus.

Ivermectin: An FDA-approved medication with decades of safety data and a growing body of published research demonstrating broad antiviral activity against RNA viruses. Dr Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory’s published review in the American Journal of Therapeutics (2021) documents ivermectin’s antiviral and anti-inflammatory mechanisms across multiple clinical and preclinical studies. As measles is an RNA virus, ivermectin is a rational candidate for inclusion in this program.

Our approach is to bring every available evidence-based tool to bear for these families, and to continue integrating repurposed compounds as the science evolves.

Measles Prevention — Medications On Hand: $350

About Cancer Prevention

2,000,000 Projected new cancer diagnoses in 2024

79.1% Increase in early onset (under 50 years old) cancer cases between 1990 and 2019

While we don’t expect the American Cancer Society to be honest about the “why”, we do agree with their statistical analysis that cancer is on the rise, as evidenced by their 2024 article demonstrating that new cancer diagnoses would eclipse 2,000,000 Americans for the first time ever. Not only that, but this study shows a 79.1% increase in early onset cancer diagnoses between 1990 and 2019.

The above statistics demonstrate an urgent need to identify preventative strategies that will stave off cancer. Even those who are told they have a “genetic predisposition” to cancer must understand their are many factors in their control that can prevent the genetic expression of tumor proliferation. We have developed a Cancer Prevention program, derived from our Adjunctive Cancer Care program, which uses truly evidence-based therapies and strategies to lower an individual’s risk of developing cancer.

On this page, you will find more information about our care model and costs, our treatment approaches, patient case studies, answers to frequently asked questions, and additional resources.

Provider Appointments

Our care model is built to support patients with a high level of 1:1 care. Our Cancer Prevention program includes extensive education on behavioral modifications, dietary guidance, and individualized treatment plans. Patients will have a 1 hour initial appointment with their provider, and a 30 minute followup every week.

We use a staff of Registered Nurses, not Nursing Assistants, to maintain a high level tele-follow-up and quality care throughout the patient experience. Our RNs provider frequent check-ins with patients in-between appointments. The goal is to ensure patient adherence to a plan of care, help manage symptoms, and address patient questions. Patients can also proactively call the nursing line at any time if their needs require it. Nursing support goes on for the duration of patient treatment.

Evidence-based medicine is a systematic approach to patient care that combines clinical expertise, research evidence, and patient values. This is the approach we took with our Long Haul and Post-Vaccine Injured patients, that we are now applying to those seeking care for cancer prevention. Our continued commitment to research, combined with our clinical observations, will continue to help patients lower their risk of developing cancer.

The initial 1 hour appointment and 30 minute followup every week with one of our Adjunctive Cancer Care providers is $2,645. Appointments are to be used during a 6 month timeframe. Patients will be given continued care options to proceed with care on an as-needed basis, after their initial appointments.

About Heavy Metal Detox Treatment

Clinician-Supervised Heavy Metal Detox Program

Measurable reduction of toxic metal burden through evidence-based protocols and objective lab tracking

Register To Make An Appointment

About Heavy Metal Detox Treatment

Through clinical experience supported by a 50-patient IRB study and published case research, Leading Edge Clinic offers a clinician-supervised heavy metal detoxification program that goes far beyond consumer supplement protocols. Our approach combines proprietary weight-based oral dosing of a unique ionic mineral solution, serial laboratory monitoring, and comprehensive wellness guidance to achieve measurable reductions in 20 different heavy metals, including mercury, lead, gadolinium, arsenic, and cadmium—proven by objective lab data before, during, and after treatment.

If you’re concerned about heavy metal exposure from food, water, environmental sources, or occupational contact, you’re not alone. Unlike IV chelation programs that indiscriminately target both beneficial and toxic minerals, our protocol works through redox buffering and mineral-competitive displacement to support the body’s natural detoxification pathways.

Our treatment approach addresses:

  • Measurable reduction of mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium through serial urine toxic metals panels
  • Mobilization and excretion monitoring across a 3-4 month treatment arc
  • Clinical management of the counterintuitive mobilization phase (labs rise before they fall)
  • Broader wellness applications including therapeutic bathing, wound care, and skin support

On this page, you will find more information about our care model and costs, our treatment approach, answers to frequently asked questions, and additional resources.

Provider Appointments

Heavy metal detoxification requires careful professional oversight and patient education to navigate the mobilization arc—the period when lab values initially rise as metals move from tissue storage into circulation before being excreted. Our program includes three structured visits over 3-4 months, designed to set expectations, validate the mechanism, and assess trajectory toward resolution.

  • Appointment 1 (60 minutes): Comprehensive history, screening, informed consent, baseline urine toxic metals panel ordered, weight-based oral dosing protocol established, topical use guidance provided, and critical education on the mobilization arc.

  • Appointment 2 (~6-8 weeks): First retest results reviewed. Labs expected to be elevated, demonstrating active mobilization. Clinical context provided, dosing adjusted if indicated.

  • Appointment 3 (~3-4 months): Second retest results reviewed. Trajectory assessment and natural continuation conversation. Some patients. may require ongoing à la carte monitoring beyond this point given the extended treatment arc.

Our heavy metal detoxification protocol is informed by a 50-patient IRB study and published case research documenting measurable reductions in 20 heavy metals, alongside clinical improvement. The treatment arc—baseline → mobilization peak → downslope—has been observed consistently across clinical cohorts, providing the foundation for patient education and expectation-setting.

Clinical evidence includes:

  • Published case study: “From Fatigue to Fertility” documenting ~9% reduction in blood methylmercury (the dominant neurotoxic form), +115% increase in urinary inorganic mercury (consistent with active hepatic demethylation and renal excretion), and 30-35% reduction in blood lead over the treatment period
  • 2026 update: Viable pregnancy maintained through second trimester with continued protocol adherence (oral dosing + daily therapeutic bathing)
  • Proprietary weight-based dosing developed through Proffetional observation and IRB data
  • Serial lab monitoring demonstrating predictable mobilization and downslope patterns

This program represents a fundamentally different value proposition from consumer detox products: Professional supervision, objective lab tracking and a comprehensive tele-follow-up, and evidence-backed protocols unavailable in the supplement market.

The program cost is $2,500, and is all inclusive of the following:

  • Initial consultation (60 min)
  • 3 follow-up appointments per week (30 min each)
  • Two bottles of proprietary ionic mineral solution
  • Three Doctor’s Data Urine Toxic Metals & Essential Elements tests at recommended clinic.

Patients can purchase 30 minute la carte appointments at $450 for continued care after their initial 3 appointments and tests in the recommended clinic. Patients may require extended care given the 6+ month treatment arc observed in the IRB data for some study participants.
